Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Design System Lead to lead the evolution of our design system into a robust, scalable, and future-proof foundation that supports product velocity, consistency, accessibility, and multi-brand flexibility. You’ll be the key bridge between Design, Engineering, and Product, driving a cross-functional initiative to unify our Product Design standards and tooling—across platforms, devices, and partners. This is an individual contributor role.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and execute the roadmap for scaling our design system across web, mobile, and other platforms
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with product, engineering, and brand design teams to ensure adoption and consistency
  • Evangelize and champion the Design System as a strategic foundation for product scalability, multi-brand flexibility, and cross-functional alignment
  • Own the full lifecycle of the design system: audit, define, build, document, and maintain
  • Implement design tokens, theming architecture, and multi-brand support (white-labeling)
  • Take into account future headless and decoupled product architectures to ensure flexibility and long-term compatibility
  • Establish and refine component libraries using modern tools (e.g., Figma, Storybook, etc.)
  • Integrate accessibility and internationalization standards into core design principles
  • Partner with engineers to bring scalable and reusable components into our codebase
  • Create clear, actionable documentation and guidelines to empower designers and developers
  • Train teams on how to use, extend, and contribute to the design system
  • Develop internal education strategies to foster Design System literacy and promote best practices through hands-on sessions, workshops, and internal resources

Requirements

  • Proven track record of scaling a design system in a high-growth environment
  • Experience with design token architecture, multi-brand theming, and accessibility (WCAG)
  • Fluency with tools like Figma, Storybook, Zeroheight, and component-based frontend frameworks (e.g., Svelte, SwiftUI, Compose)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

Have experience with white-label product environments and product internationalization

What we offer

  • Attractive compensation package consisting of base salary and the potential to earn a significant bonus for top performance, plus stock options
  • Stock options
  • 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences
  • Home office friendly
  • Responsibility from day one and professional and personal growth
  • Great work environment with a young, international team of talented people to work with
  • Health insurance and other benefits such as Flexible remuneration with a 100% tax exemption through Cobee
