Job Responsibility

Ensure project designs are build-able, compliant, and aligned with a project's technical and commercial objectives
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience working directly within a design management capacity for a recognised and well-regarded Australian Head Contractor within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction environment
A demonstrated history of successfully managing the end-to-end design process on complex commercial, residential, or institutional projects valued at $50M+
High proficiency in managing construction documentation and utilising modern project management software is required
A comprehensive understanding of Australian construction processes, building regulations, and safety standards, combined with a strong commitment to quality and environmental sustainability
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes priorities and navigate a fast-paced environment
A consistent, stable employment history showcasing loyalty and the successful delivery of major projects from inception through to handover
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management/Engineering, or an equivalent structural trade background
