Job Description:

This is your chance to join a growing Independent Connections Provider (ICP) that specialises in high voltage electrical connections and, increasingly, connections for gas and water. The business is highly quality and safety focused and benefits from high levels of customer satisfaction and staff retention. As the Design Manager, you will be responsible for the management and development of the design team to help create detailed designs for the company. You will be an excellent role model for the design team, supporting and inspiring them to develop their own skills within the company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Enhancing current designs processes to reduce any risk within the company throughout the construction process
  • Improving any internal processes and procedures to help ensure that designs are completed to the company’s standards
  • Build a team that is operations-focused that will strengthen all stages of the design process
  • Manage the design team and create reports based on their performances in aim to improve and develop any specific areas

Requirements:

  • Experience designing electrical connections
  • Experience in a managing role
  • Knowledge of design software
  • Full UK Driving Licence
