Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design coordination and management efforts for large-scale industrial and facility projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of design deliverables, ensuring alignment between engineering firms, developers, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in design management, construction coordination, and project scheduling, along with the ability to manage complex design packages, enforce quality standards, and drive execution across multidisciplinary teams. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can operate effectively in fast-paced, enterprise environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead oversight of design deliverables, submissions, and revisions across projects
  • Coordinate between engineering firms, developers, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment across disciplines, identifying and resolving coordination gaps
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of design packages and technical documentation
  • Establish and enforce design standards and best practices
  • Maintain design change logs and assess downstream impacts

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in design management within construction, industrial, or facility projects
  • Proven experience coordinating across engineering firms, developers, and stakeholders
  • Strong experience with project scheduling and design package review
  • Deep knowledge of QA/QC processes and design coordination
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
