Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the Pre-Construction team to lead the design and delivery of water projects within the South Western Region
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across Civil, Structural, MEPICA, Health and Safety, Sustainability, Environmental, and Planning teams to develop integrated and innovative solutions
  • Drive the technical delivery of infrastructure projects, leading multidisciplinary technical teams to create value-driven solutions that address client challenges across the entire design lifecycle
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to secure buy-in for proposed solutions, fostering collaboration between internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners to deliver buildable and high-quality technical outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience of all aspects civil engineering projects from either design or contracting background
  • A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject (e.g. civil) and/or equivalent experience
  • Clear understanding of the commercial requirements of delivering complex multidisciplinary design and build projects and an appreciation of delivery risk
  • A full UK Driving Licence

Nice to have

  • Experience of undertaking feasibility studies, options appraisal and concept design, and/or outline and detailed design for clients and design and build contractors
  • Broad knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Process)
  • Chartered or Incorporated with a relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM or working towards it
  • Temporary works experience
