Job Description:

We’re recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing Enabling Works Contractor delivering demolition, groundworks, remediation, and complex site-prep packages. They’re looking for a sharp, solutions-driven Design Manager to own the design process from tender through delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and coordinate all design activities
  • Drive buildability, value engineering, and technical compliance
  • Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and site teams
  • Manage design risks, CDM, and temporary works input

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree (preferred)
  • Design management experience in civils, enabling works, demolition, or groundworks
  • Strong technical understanding and confident communication
  • Organised, proactive, and able to thrive in fast-moving projects
