Job Description:

David Zwirner is seeking a Design Intern to work closely with the design team’s Senior Designer, Design Project Manager, and the Creative Director. The intern will assist with all things related to David Zwirner’s design including but not limited to: exhibition invitations, ads, social assets, and the production of bespoke projects.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with all things related to David Zwirner’s design
Day to day requests from the marketing, digital marketing, content, events and social teams
Bespoke designs for online and print applications
Templated digital and print ads, social assets, invitations, and newsletters
Adapting existing design systems to various formats
Development of design directions
Visual research
Asset organization
Working with type, grids, layout, and sequence
Prepping/exporting assets for print/online

Requirements:

Basic working knowledge of Figma, Indesign, Photoshop and After Effects
Self motivated
Organized
Detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Interest in art and design as it applies to a commercial gallery
Must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT

Nice to have:

Passionate and interested in the arts/larger creative arena or is eager to learn
