Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in airframe primary and secondary structures design including systems installations
Understanding of airframe configuration, optimization, loads, stress analysis, materials, manufacturing processes, tooling concepts and structural in-service requirements
Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5), Dimensional Management, and ability to perform manufacturing tolerance stack ups. Preferably certification
Experience with CATIA V5/Enovia or Teamcenter/NX
Understanding of civil aircraft certification rules and certification procedures
Strong leadership, communication and inter-personal skills

Provide technical solutions to production line for all structural and system installation issues
Provide technical direction to junior design engineers to accomplish day-to-day tasks
Ensure effective management of assigned design activities by closely working with other engineering departments, internal and external customers, Methods, Quality and Procurement
Maintaining technical knowledge and awareness of developments related to airframe structures
Closely interface with Stress, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality and test groups
