Create, develop and release 3D/2D CAD designs, drawings, BOMs and technical documentation in CATIA V5 within agreed time, quality and cost targets. Represent design activities during product development in close cooperation with project engineers, test engineers, component experts, HQ engineering and production planning. Develop and detail technical concepts, design solutions and engineering changes in cross-functional teams (design, testing, sample build, production planning, purchasing). Perform technical calculations (strength, weight, packaging) and simulations (kinematics, FEM in CATIA GPS) and interpret results. Participate in design and engineering reviews (DFMEA, A–D checklists, FEM meetings, specification reviews). Support timely design releases for testing, tooling and production ramp-up. Contribute to product improvements, innovations and VA/VE activities.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or comparable technical education
3–5 years of experience in automotive engineering or a similar technical field
Strong knowledge of 3D/2D CAD design, preferably CATIA V5
Knowledge of GD&T and basic mechanical design calculations (static/dynamic loads, deformation, mechanisms)
Experience with automotive mechanisms
window regulators are an advantage
Knowledge of sheet metal and plastic design and manufacturing
Confident user of MS Office tools
Good communication and presentation skills
Intermediate level of English
