Job Description:

We’re looking for a number of experienced Design Engineers to support our high-impact vehicle integration and protection projects at NP Aerospace. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role working within a specialist team that designs, develops and integrates mission-critical systems into vehicles for global defence customers.

Job Responsibility:

Lead detailed 3D CAD design work using Creo 9.0 or higher, producing models, assemblies and engineering drawings to the highest standards
Manage your own BoMs and CAD data in PLM (Windchill preferred), ensuring full traceability and accuracy
Support vehicle integration projects from concept design through to release for manufacture – balancing weight, cost, strength and assembly feasibility
Work closely with Lead Engineers and project teams
Designs will directly support the build and delivery of vehicles to defence customers

Requirements:

Extensive experience as a Design Engineer in defence, automotive or aerospace industries
Expert-level Creo 9.0 or higher 3D CAD skills (essential)
Experience using Windchill PLM (or similar) for CAD and BOM management
Knowledge of fabrication, machining and composite manufacturing methods
Proactive, self-sufficient approach with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
UK Nationals only
Sole UK nationality
Must be eligible for security clearance
