RemoteStar is looking to hire a Design Engineer on behalf of our client in the Scotland. About Role - We are looking to hire a Design Engineer who has experience in design and building structures. About Client- UK’s leading Structural Steelwork suppliers, offering a total solution for large-scale developments since 1992 with a client base that includes some of the UK’s and Ireland’sforemost main contractors and developers, enabling us to work across retail, commercial, health, education, data, and industrial sectors. Location- Carnwath, South Lanarkshire -Scotland

Job Responsibility

  • Working on the Structural Frame Design, Connection Design, and Foundation Design of client projects
  • Being responsible for delivering projects
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience in design and building structures of Structural Frame Design, Connection Design, and Foundation Design
  • Experience in using design software is essential
  • Good communication skills are required with internal teams and external clients

Nice to have

  • Experience in delivering projects through the SER certification process would be beneficial
  • CEng, MIStructE, and MICE are preferable however the client can assist with mentoring should the candidate wish to work toward these professional qualifications
