  • Create, maintain, and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) based on customer and manufacturing feedback
  • Drive continuous improvement by researching and incorporating design enhancements and new product solutions
  • Design products using sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment available within the facility
  • Ensure designs meet functional requirements while delivering cost-effective, manufacturable solutions
  • Support cost estimating activities in collaboration with the Estimating team
  • Develop manufacturing process routings aligned with in-house production capabilities and workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of sheet metal design experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience using Autodesk Inventor
  • Experience designing for manufacturability (DFM) and working closely with production teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, custom manufacturing environment with short design cycle times
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
