Job Description:

Electrical Design Engineer - 11KV. Join a leading player in the Multi-Utility industry, providing a range of services and solutions to customers across the UK. They have a strong focus on innovation, quality and customer satisfaction, and are committed to investing in their people and technology to maintain their position as a leader in their field. Plus, they’re connected to an IDNO. They offer multiple product streams nationwide, from private high voltage connections and maintenance to multiple new connections across Electricity, Gas, Telecoms and Water. Projects include11kV - connections covering MDU / SDU / I&C. Joining a team of 9, you will be responsible for producing or coordinating designs for a wide range of electricity projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Produce compliant designs upto 11KV
  • Liaise directly with clients, internal and external stakeholders, and undertake site visits as required
  • Provide technical support to the wider business

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in utility Design is essential
  • A relevant Electrical Engineering or Gas/Water Network Design qualification is desirable
  • AutoCAD and/or WinDebut
  • A demonstrable experience with utility regulation and adoption process is desirable
  • Good awareness of CDM and health & safety regulations
  • A strong customer focus
  • Team Player
  • Organised, self-motivated, with good time management skills
