Requirements:
CATIA knowledge is a must
2+ years in field
Development of CAD models
Design and modeling of flexible components, brackets, and brake components using CATIA CAD software
Creation and adaptation of 3D models
Construction and design of components
Development of components such as brackets, fasteners, and other components for brake and chassis components
Ensuring that the components meet the requirements for strength, flexibility, and load-bearing capacity
Consideration of manufacturing tolerances and material properties during development
Commissioning/performing structural simulations to validate components (e.g., FEM analysis)
Evaluating deformations and bending behavior on components
Performing service life and fatigue analyses
Collaboration with prototype construction and manufacturing to create sample parts
Support for testing the developed components under real conditions
Creation and maintenance of technical drawings and parts lists
Documentation of development processes, test reports, and simulation results
Ensuring compliance with design guidelines and documentation in VOOFit for release preparation
Collaboration with the manufacturing, quality management, purchasing, and SE team leaders
Participation at the request of the SE-TL in coordinating component requirements and manufacturing processes with suppliers and external partners
Continuous analysis and improvement of existing components in terms of cost efficiency, performance, and manufacturability
Implementation of feedback from tests and internal departments to optimize designs
Responsible for maintaining and updating virtual vehicle models within the CAD system at relevant milestones
Ensuring that all parts and components are correctly integrated into the virtual vehicle
Performing regular updates and changes to the virtual vehicle models based on new designs or changes
Assisting in the performance of vehicle and system analyses (e.g., collision tests) in the virtual environment
Maintenance and administration of virtual vehicle databases
Responsibility for the timely release of all relevant components, including the creation and maintenance of release documentation up to AFO001
Ensuring that all components have undergone the necessary tests and validations
