Job Description

Come build something with Shepley Bulfinch as an Design Coordinator! As an Design Coordinator, you will assist with the production of architectural drawings. You can expect to partner with a more experienced project architect to develop plans, elevations, RCPs and details. With their vision and expertise, you will model spaces, usually working off redlines or getting direction in a meeting. At Shepley Bulfinch, you can expect to be collaboratively engaged with your project team in the pursuit of boundless creativity in all aspects of the design process.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the production of architectural drawings
  • Partner with a more experienced project architect to develop plans, elevations, RCPs and details

Requirements

  • B.Arch or M.Arch, or equivalent degree preferred
  • Previous Designer Internship / Designer experience preferred
  • Ability to use Revit in a professional environment preferred
  • Proficiency with Affinity Suite or Adobe, Illustrator and InDesign, rendering programs, and MS Office

  • Partnering with new residents to determine furniture placement and art installation for move-ins
  • Leading the design selection process for residential renovations, including paint colors, flooring, and finishes
  • Acting as the primary liaison with contractors for design implementation (with renovation scheduling managed by the Facilities Coordinator)
  • Assists incoming residents with design selections (including paint, flooring, cabinets refinishing, countertops, etc) preparing the home and move to the property
  • Supports through the position's duties and responsibilities occupancy goals as described in the annual budget
