Design Consultant – In-home Sales Pro for SPF Screens & Awnings, part of the Hunter Douglas family. Role involves running 2-4 qualified, pre-set appointments per day, delivering consultative presentations, and driving decisive buying outcomes for homeowners investing in premium outdoor living solutions (retractable awnings and motorized sun shades).
Job Responsibility:
Deliver professional, consultative presentations focused on value
Confidently ask for the sale and drive one-call closes
Own pipeline from first appointment through installation
Follow up strategically with issued quotes
Generate additional revenue through referrals, repeat business, and local partnerships
Support nearby territories when needed
Maintain expert-level CRM pipeline management and communication standards
Requirements:
2-5+ years of high-ticket, consultative sales experience
In-home sales background preferred
Consistently overachieved revenue goals in a commission-based role
Thrive in a performance-driven environment
Confident, polished, and highly persuasive in the home
Ability to manage time, territory, and follow-up
Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
Willingness to travel within assigned territory
Ability to lift up to 40lbs & utilize a ladder for measurements
Full-time, 5 days per week (including one weekend day), with evening availability for follow-up communication
