Job Responsibility:
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging D&T lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum
Guiding students in developing their design, making, and critical evaluation skills across various materials and disciplines
Working closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department
Lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive and safe workshop environment
Adhering to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Design and Technology or a related field
proven experience teaching the D&T UK curriculum at the secondary level
excellent classroom and workshop management skills
