Job Description:

Randstad is seeking a skilled and inspiring Design and Technology Teacher to join a respected Secondary School in Clapham. This is an exciting chance to become a vital part of a forward-thinking department, working with students who are eager to design, create, and innovate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging D&T lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum
  • Guiding students in developing their design, making, and critical evaluation skills across various materials and disciplines
  • Working closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department
  • Lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive and safe workshop environment
  • Adhering to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Design and Technology or a related field
  • proven experience teaching the D&T UK curriculum at the secondary level
