Job Description:

Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with a school in Bristol who are looking for a full time Product Design Teacher. The successful candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status, experience in a UK school and promote creativity and independence in the students at this school. The role includes teaching Product Design to KS3 and KS4 students. The individual must have a positive mindset and be a role model to these students. The days working will be Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm. The pay scale will be MPS1 – UPS3. This role has the opportunity to go permanent if the applicant is successful.

Job Responsibility:

  • Teaching Product Design to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Promote creativity and independence in the students

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education
  • Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills
  • Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job
