Job Description:

U.S. Bank has an opportunity for a Derivatives Portfolio Manager. This person supports WCIB and Derivative groups relationship managers, portfolio managers, and sales traders for existing and new customer relationships. The Derivative Portfolio manager will support FX, Commodities and Rates teams to design derivative limits, duration, risk analysis and portfolio management in conjunction with business lines as well.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supports WCIB and Derivative groups relationship managers, portfolio managers, and sales traders for existing and new customer relationships
  • Support FX, Commodities and Rates teams to design derivative limits, duration, risk analysis and portfolio management in conjunction with business lines
  • Evaluate credit worthiness, monitoring exposures across clients and asset class/business groups and supporting risk models and frameworks
  • This will include financial and risk analysis, internal risk ratings, credit approval process and collaboration on deal structures, ISDA/CSA, documentation and credit terms
  • Manage the portfolio to identify risk, trends, adherence to policy, procedures, guidelines, etc.
  • Participate and contribute to the RFP response process for customer opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field
  • 10 or more years of banking experience
  • Three or more years of management experience
