Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Deputy Team Manager to join our Kinship Support Team on a permanent basis.

Support the Team Manager in the effective leadership and management of the team
Provide supervision and guidance to staff
Support high standards of practice
Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and safeguarding requirements
Work collaboratively with children’s social care teams and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for children
Supervising and supporting kinship foster carers
Overseeing private fostering arrangements in line with statutory duties
Providing post-order support to Special Guardianship (SGO) carers, ensuring placements remain stable and sustainable

£4,000 welcome payment
£2,000 retention payment
