We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Team Manager for our Disabled Children’s Service team on a permanent basis. The Disabled Children and Young People’s Early Help Team supports children and young people who are aged 0- 18 years old with significant needs arising from their disability. The team aims to ensure that disabled children and their families have access to a needs-led service that promotes resilience, co-production and improves children’s life chances.
Job Responsibility:
ensuring we offer advice, guidance and support at the earliest opportunity
signing off and agreeing EHCP contributions
making decisions to complete single assessments with families in line with the eligibility criteria
supervise and support staff
undertake statutory social worker tasks
Requirements:
Social Work England registration
a full driving licence and willingness to drive
DBS clearance (Enhanced Adults & Children’s)
to have completed your ASYE year (if you qualified after 2012)
