Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Stage Manager to support the management of rehearsals, pre-production, performances and stage management strike of our Pantomime production. This role will attend in all rehearsals and compile the show book, including taking blocking, rehearsal notes, setting lists and running lists. The DSM is responsible for calling the production from the show book that you have compiled as part of the rehearsal process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Stage Manager previously in a theatre or touring production, including the creation of a prompt copy
  • Oversaw running rehearsal rooms and technical systems
  • Working knowledge of the functions and capabilities of production systems
  • Strong team skills and can effectively manage a team
  • Able to work flexibility with varied hours as documented in the schedule
