Deputy Site Manager

• Leading the execution of surface civil works, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and performance
• Managing excavation and construction of TBM launch shafts and associated assets
• Overseeing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Monitoring programme, budgets and risk, implementing corrective actions where required
• Driving compliance with UK HSE legislation and quality systems
• Supporting stakeholder engagement with regulators, local authorities and client teams
• Deputising for the Surface Project Manager when required
• Contributing to procurement strategy, risk management and programme control

• Strong experience in construction site set-up, heavy civil engineering and earthworks
• Solid technical knowledge of excavation, concrete and shaft construction
• Background in major infrastructure or tunnelling enabling works
• Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS or a degree in construction or project management
• Confident leader who can motivate teams, manage subcontractors and operate effectively within a collaborative alliance structure
