Job Description:

The position involves leading and managing the sales team, ensuring a great customer experience, achieving commercial goals, analyzing store performance, and maintaining operational excellence. IKEA is committed to sustainability and creating a positive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Secure a consistent, seamless positive customer experience
ensure shopkeepers have the right number of co-workers in the right place at the right time
deliver and lead the commercial action plan for the store
secure successful implementation of country priorities
analyse the qualitative performance of the store using IKEA research tools
understand the multichannel retail environment
follow up financial goals, KPIs and costs
motivate and develop team members
secure competent and high-performing teams
identify and develop talents within the department
take responsibility for processes like Forecasting, Sales Location Management or Sales Steering
contribute to a people and planet positive business, social connection and environmental impact
ensure purchasing aligns with the principles in the Purchase Policy

Requirements:

Understanding how to create business in the IKEA multichannel retail environment
experience working in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment
proven record of strong and successful leadership
skilled in creating a high commercial performance
understanding and actively using all IKEA manuals including Selling the IKEA way and Pricing the IKEA way
understanding the business plan process in the store, setting budgets, implementing action plans and following up goals
good analytical and numerical skills
understanding the local market and competition
business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus
ability to lead business through people by demonstrating strong leadership capabilities
