Job Description

As a Deputy Resource Centre Manager, you support the Community Resource Centre Manager and also work collaboratively with the Area Manager to deliver on new, creative opportunities to develop different services and support.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Community Resource Centre Manager
  • Work collaboratively with the Area Manager to deliver new, creative opportunities to develop different services and support
  • Focus on developments of autism practices
  • Be aware of current thinking relating to Positive Behaviour Support
  • Support the team to understand the autistic perspective
  • Contribute to completion of assessments and transition planning
  • Act as an active member of the senior team
  • Demonstrate best practice
  • Provide formal supervision, day-to-day support, guidance and direction
  • Help ensure outreach services are delivered to people within the local community
