Job Description:

You’ll be joining Oasis Community Learning, a Multi-Academy Trust of 56 Academies/schools, as a Deputy Payroll Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves overseeing the payroll department, managing the team, handling escalations, and assisting with system integration projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the payroll department
  • Line manage the payroll team
  • Be the point of escalation for payroll queries and complex calculations
  • Assist with development and integration of new HRIS with payroll system
  • Ensure staff across academies and central functions are paid correctly

Requirements:

  • Payroll specialist
  • Experience with Itrent
  • Managed multiple payrolls previously
  • Experience in a shared service environment or customer satisfaction mindset
