You’ll be joining Oasis Community Learning, a Multi-Academy Trust of 56 Academies/schools, as a Deputy Payroll Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves overseeing the payroll department, managing the team, handling escalations, and assisting with system integration projects.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the payroll department
Line manage the payroll team
Be the point of escalation for payroll queries and complex calculations
Assist with development and integration of new HRIS with payroll system
Ensure staff across academies and central functions are paid correctly
Requirements:
Payroll specialist
Experience with Itrent
Managed multiple payrolls previously
Experience in a shared service environment or customer satisfaction mindset
Managerial experience
Potentially worked in education or similar sector
