Job Description:

This is a unique and varied leadership role that offers a perfect balance between frontline practice and management. The successful candidate will work across a 5-day week with a structured split: 3 Days: Room-based, leading by example and supporting the team in providing excellent care. 1 Day: Dedicated to Special Educational Needs (SEN) coordination and support. 1 Day: Leadership and management time to assist the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher)
  • Previous experience in a leadership or senior role within a nursery setting is highly preferred
  • Experience or a strong interest in SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) duties is an advantage
  • A proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of EYFS requirements
