Working Hours: 38 hours over 4 days, Monday to Friday between 8-6pm with a flexi day off per week Location: The Old Station Nursery, The Ridgeway, Stratford upon Avon, West Midlands, CV37 9JL What being a Deputy Nursery Manager involves As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while maintaining excellence in your base room responsibilities. You will: Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education with pride and energy. Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring consistency and quality. Act as a role model, fostering an environment of initiative, creativity, and high standards of care. Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to promote collaboration and excellent outcomes for children. Monitor and guide the team's implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging and nurturing learning opportunities. Take responsibility for the nursery in the Nursery Manager's absence, ensuring smooth operations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional development within your team. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that respects the unique needs of every child. About our Nursery Stratford-upon-Avon Nursery provides a newly refurbished indoor environment and extensive outdoor spaces for babies and children aged 0-3. With two rooms, including a sensory room, we offer a nurturing and stimulating setting for our little ones, fostering a love of learning from an early age. We are located on The Ridgeway, minutes from the A46 to Alcester, and a short drive from the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon.
