Deputy Manager role within a specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Cheshire providing support for people with Mental Health needs, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries. The role involves supporting the creation of person-centred plans and working in partnership with Local Health Professionals.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Care Home Manager in the overall management of the facility, including staff management, resident care, and administrative tasks
Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of care staff
Oversee the assessment, care planning, and implementation of care plans for residents
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies
Participate in regular meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
Full, valid UK driver’s licence and willing to travel
NVQ Level 3, Diploma in Health and Social Care
Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience supporting Vulnerable Adults
Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare or social care sector
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
A compassionate and caring attitude
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including CQC standards
IT proficiency, including experience with care management systems
