Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive individual who can bring with them the managerial skills to assist in the management of a complex mental health supported living scheme. This will be a 24 hour, PBS led service with input from our OT and MH professionals. Individuals will have their own apartment within a 10-unit complex with staff on site. The service is aimed to support individuals who have had long stay admissions in locked door rehabilitation units, forensic units and out of area placements. This may be their first opportunity to live semi-independently and develop independent living skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the management of a complex mental health supported living scheme
  • Support the Service Manager
  • Coordinate and liaise with new referrals and assessments
  • Work across multi-disciplinary teams including forensics, mental health, learning disabilities, Neuro diversity and EUPD

Requirements:

  • Desirable level 5 in leadership & management or willing to work towards
  • Level 3 health & social care qualification
  • At least 2 years’ experience of caring for adults with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours
  • PBS experience
  • Management experience
  • People that are enthusiastic about making a difference
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, dynamic, and creative within the care sector
