We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Manager to join us ahead of opening and help establish a culture defined by excellence, accountability and professional pride. Job Responsibility:
Providing strong clinical oversight at home level, ensuring safe, person-centred care is consistently delivered
leading governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
supporting regulatory compliance and maintaining excellent Care Inspectorate standards
acting up in the Home Manager's absence and participating in the on-call rota
contributing to workforce planning, succession development and performance management
monitoring operational performance and supporting delivery of the home's objectives
building strong, professional relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders
Requirements:
Registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RLDN) with active NMC registration
proven experience within a care home setting
strong clinical leadership and sound knowledge of Scottish regulatory frameworks
confidence in managing governance responsibilities and operational performance
ability to inspire, mentor and develop colleagues at all levels
commercial awareness and understanding of how quality care and business performance align
calm, decisive approach to leadership
genuine commitment to continuous learning and improvement
