Job Description:

Deputy Manager role at Seahorse Nursery, a family-run group of nurseries in Southfields and Wimbledon Park. The role is to get children ready for the world through play. Flexible working shifts 4 days a week and year-round. An excellent opportunity for an existing third in charge or high-performance room leader to showcase leadership and management skills.

Job Responsibility:

To be jointly responsible for the day-to-day and operational running of the Nursery
To understand and be able to teach the Seahorse curriculum and educational programmes
To support the team to fulfil their roles in working with children, working with parents, and working with team
To ensure the Nursery is successfully promoting and supporting the children’s personal development, behaviour, health, and welfare
Provide an inclusive environment for colleagues, children and visitors
Safeguard the children: safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility

Requirements:

Early Years Practitioner (qualified - L3, L6, QTS, EYTS - essential)
2 years plus experience working in a nursery setting (essential)
Looking for a meaningful job and passionate about child education
Positive attitude
Available to work all year round
Suitable references and DBS checks
