Job Description:

We are seeking an International Entity Controller to take end-to-end ownership of statutory financial reporting, controls, and compliance for allocated international legal entities. This role provides exposure to complex, multi-country entities and requires close collaboration with Finance Operations, Enterprise Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Audit teams. The individual will develop a deep understanding of entity performance, ensure robust governance, and contribute to continuous improvement and transformation aligned with the Vodafone Finance Operating Model.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own statutory financial reporting for allocated international legal entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations
  • Review monthly legal entity results, analysing income statement and balance sheet drivers and producing evidenced management accounts
  • Prepare statutory accounts and supporting working papers to a high standard
  • Ensure all relevant financial controls operate effectively and in line with Vodafone policies and procedures
  • Meet local finance and tax compliance obligations with consistent quality and timeliness
  • Act as the single point of contact for the legal entity, coordinating resolution of complex issues across multiple teams
  • Configure ONESOURCE templates, validate data mappings, and coordinate approvals with local experts
  • Identify opportunities to standardise and simplify statutory reporting processes and support change initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience and a solid understanding of IFRS
  • Experienced in statutory reporting within complex or international environments
  • Skilled in collaboration, coordination, communication, and presenting financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Comfortable supporting transformation and change initiatives within finance operations
  • Experienced in, or open to working within, a shared services environment
  • Able to interpret accounting standards efficiently and apply them in practical scenarios.
