Deputy Manager role providing care and support for adults with learning disabilities and autism in a calm and welcoming environment. Work alongside another Deputy Manager to provide high-quality support and leadership, overseeing a team of dedicated support workers.
Job Responsibility:
Leading and motivating a team of support workers
Ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and updated as needed
Working closely with the wider team to ensure consistency in care delivery
Managing shift patterns and overseeing staff performance
Ensuring individuals’ needs are met in accordance with their personal plans
Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
Supporting the team with complex needs related to physical health and behaviours that challenge
Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
Dynamic, adaptable, and ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role
Hands-on approach and the ability to lead a team
Strong understanding of complex health needs and behaviours that challenge
Experience of working flexible hours (days, nights, and weekends)
Passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with complex needs
Must be over the age of 18
