Job Description

Purpose of the Role: Responsible for maintaining all store records: inward, outward, consumption, reconciliation, inventory etc.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the warehouse team, providing guidance and performance evaluations
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular audits and reconciliations
  • Manage stock control processes, including FIFO/LIFO methods
  • Assist in developing and managing the warehouse budget
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Preparation of stock statements and inventory
  • Implementation of stores procedures
  • Management of stacking yards, upkeep of shuttering material
  • Maintaining sufficient stock levels and raising PR when stock levels fall
  • Monthly stock checking - both physical and on books
  • Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile them with purchase orders
  • Track damages and discrepancies on orders received
  • Check the material for quantity as well as the quality
  • Check the documents sent by business units along with the consignment
  • Prepare GRN proper storage of material
  • Prepare the MIS report etc.
  • Material dispatch planning

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in warehouse management
  • Experience in maintaining store records, inward, outward, consumption, reconciliation, inventory
  • Experience in leading and managing warehouse teams
  • Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of FIFO/LIFO methods
  • Experience in stock control and inventory management
  • Experience in managing budgets and cost reduction
  • Ability to prepare stock statements, MIS reports
  • Experience in material dispatch planning
