Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established four-bedded residential children's home dedicated to providing high-quality, therapeutic care for young people aged 11-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance
  • Leading, supervising, and developing a dedicated staff team
  • Promoting a positive and nurturing environment for young people, helping them build life skills and resilience
  • Implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a children's home
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and children's residential care legislation
  • Experience working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification
  • Passion, resilience, and a strong desire to make a difference in young people's lives
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including some evenings and weekends
