Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced OSS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions within the OSS domain. This role involves working on strategic projects, collaborating with suppliers and partners, and ensuring system performance, security, and scalability. The position is based in Pune or UK and offers opportunities to work on advanced technologies such as AWS/GCP, Agile methodologies, and automation tools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist project teams by removing blockers and resolving infrastructure challenges
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to deliver project activities
  • Consolidate reports and present progress updates to senior leaders
  • Contribute to DevOps backlog items and provide technical guidelines to teams
  • Architect solutions for business tools, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
  • Evaluate new technologies for integration with existing systems
  • Support regulatory obligations and UAT sign-off for tool developments
  • Provide operational support and handle escalations related to OSS tools and data
  • Conduct root cause analysis on data issues and collaborate on resolutions

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in OSS solution design and domain knowledge
  • Skilled in Agile environments and familiar with VMware, NFV, OpenStack, AWS/GCP
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and SailPoint IdentityIQ
  • Practical understanding of access control models and compliance frameworks
  • Proficient in AWS services (IAM, Lambda, EC2, RDS) and security management
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Essential Skills: Python, Software Development Fundamentals, Azure DevOps, Telecom domain knowledge

Nice to have:

Desired Skills: ITIL Service Management, AWS/GCP certification
