As a Senior Specialist – Oracle Middleware Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and administering Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic environments at Level 2 and above. This role involves installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery setups. You will also contribute to automation initiatives and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver robust middleware solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Administer and manage WebLogic servers and Oracle Fusion Middleware components across multiple operating systems
Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migration, and tuning of WebLogic domains (standalone and clustered)
Deploy and manage Java/J2EE applications on WebLogic clusters
Configure and maintain JDBC data sources, JMS resources, security realms, LDAP integration, and SSL
Implement and support high availability and disaster recovery setups, including failover testing
Conduct performance tuning (JVM, thread pools, GC) and troubleshoot application and middleware issues
Drive automation using WLST, Python, and Shell scripting
Requirements:
Strong experience in WebLogic and Oracle Fusion Middleware administration tasks
Proficiency in OS-level administration and troubleshooting
Expertise in WebLogic installation, configuration, tuning, and application deployment
Hands-on experience with WebLogic patching (11g/12c/14c)
Skilled in configuring JDBC Data Sources, Security Realms, External LDAP Integration, SSL Implementation
Knowledge of JMS resources, Node Manager configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience in high availability architecture and disaster recovery setups
Automation skills using WLST, Python, and Shell scripting
