Job Description:

Yorkare Homes is recruiting a Dementia Deputy Manager for our new York home Rawcliffe Manor. This luxury care home will include facilities such as an in-house bar, restaurant standard dining rooms, a full beauty salon, and hairdressing room, a cinema, a convenience store, and outdoor terraces on each floor. The home will offer large, beautiful gardens, with a bowling green, allotments, and private seating areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the home’s management including taking temporary or complete charge during the absence of the Manager
  • Promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment for all residents
  • Support the Registered Manager in their duties to ensure the home complies with all health and safety requirements
  • Assist the Registered Manager to produce and maintain systems and procedures for auditing and assuring quality of care
  • Guide the team to always deliver care to the highest level to support residents with a wide range of disabilities
  • Share the on-call with the other members of the management team
  • Oversee the documentation entries daily, complete rotas and staff meetings
  • Be able to communicate well with professionals, other staff members, residents, and relatives
  • Induct, train and supervise staff as required
