I am recruiting for the below postion. Deputy Manager - Children's Residential (EBD). Location: Telford. | £35,900. The Role: Support the Registered Manager in leading a warm, "family-feel" home for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties. You'll oversee shifts, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality care and Ofsted compliance.

  • Ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs
  • Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, safeguarding their welfare at all times
  • Line Managing a team of staff as set out by the Home Manager
  • Completing supervisions, appraisals and probationary review meetings with team members as required
  • Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift
  • Attending to Young People’s practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model
  • Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential
  • Completing written reports and documentation
