Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deputy Manager - Finance professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a range of financial activities, with a primary focus on income accounting, collections, and compliance with various regulatory requirements. This role requires a professional with strong analytical skills, a process-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Income & Accounts Receivable Management: raising, verifying, and accounting for invoices
  • performing regular ledger scrutiny
  • Member Exchange Dues & Collections: processing and accounting of member exchange dues and collections
  • tracking receivables
  • conducting follow-ups for timely collection
  • Bank Correspondence & Reconciliations: handling bank-related correspondence
  • performing periodic bank reconciliations
  • Tax & Payment Processing: 26AS-related reconciliations
  • processing payments to members
  • ensuring compliance with TDS and other tax regulations
  • Regulatory Compliance: monitoring and ensuring compliance with SEBI requirements
  • managing SEBI turnover fees
  • managing Investor Service Fund
  • transferring penalties and contributions to the Investor Protection Fund

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or CA Inter with 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • 5-10 years in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the Securities and stock exchange industry
  • Proven experience in income accounting and collection
  • Strong understanding of compliance with various regulatory requirements of SEBI, TDS, and GST
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly analytical
  • Strong process-oriented approach
