A well-established financial services group with a strong market presence in Singapore is looking to expand its regional operational capabilities. The organization is widely recognised for its steady market growth and commitment to fostering a collaborative and professional work environment. The department is seeking a corporate actions professional to join the team as a Deputy Lead, Corporate Actions to assist the manager with daily operational processing and workflow oversight.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in supervising daily operational workflows and managing resource allocation within the department
  • Oversee the end-to-end processing of corporate action events and dividend distributions across international markets
  • Perform thorough reconciliations of entitlements and cash payments received from external custodians
  • Manage complex regulatory and foreign tax reporting requirements to ensure absolute statutory compliance
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and coordinate user acceptance testing for system enhancements

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification with a solid foundation in financial services operations, including specific experience in handling corporate actions
  • Demonstrated capability to guide team members, manage operational risks, and act as an escalation point
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with automation functions and data macros
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders
