Job Description

Our Deputy Housekeeping Managers are at the very heart of our hotels, shaping our guests’ experience every day. We’re looking for a caring, organised, and detail-driven leader who can support, nurture, and inspire the housekeeping team to consistently deliver exceptional standards. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Housekeeping Management team to oversee daily operations across both hotels. Flexibility is essential, including weekends, bank holidays, and Duty Manager responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Organising daily housekeeping tasks, including room allocations across both hotels
  • Checking guest bedrooms after cleaning to ensure consistently high standards
  • Overseeing cleaning standards in communal areas
  • Supporting room attendants to meet timelines and release rooms on schedule
  • Reporting maintenance issues through correct processes
  • Managing monthly stock control and stock takes
  • Ensuring Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines are followed
  • Covering room attendant duties when required
  • Supporting porters and laundry team with daily operations
  • Understanding and using the room booking system
  • Attending meetings as required by housekeeping management
  • Communicating effectively with senior managers and relaying key information to other departments
  • Completing Duty Manager shifts as required

  • Experience in a similar housekeeping leadership role
