This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional to step into a Deputy Home Manager role with a leading UK care provider. Job Responsibility:
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day management of the home
Take responsibility for the service in the Home Manager’s absence
Lead shifts and supervise the care team to ensure high standards of care delivery
Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and supervision
Ensure care plans, documentation, and medication management are maintained to a high standard
Support with audits, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
Previous experience working within an elderly residential or dementia care home
Experience in a Deputy Manager, Senior Care, or Team Leader position
Strong understanding of care planning, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
Experience supporting staff, supervising shifts, and maintaining care standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
