We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Deputy Health and Safety Manager to join our Estates team to help ensure a safe, compliant and positive environment for all staff, student and visitors across our Campuses. Job Responsibility:
Support in developing, testing and maintaining the Group’s Incident Management and Business Continuity plans
Support in the development and delivery of annual programme of Health and Safety training for the Group, such as Fire Safety, Manual Handling, and DSE Assessments
Monitor national security alerts and guidance, ensuring the Group remains responsive
Contribute to continuous improvement of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments
Assist in managing RIDDOR reporting and liaising with HSE/EHO as required
Requirements:
GCSEs in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
NEBOSH Certificate
Membership of IOSH or actively working towards
Full clean UK driving licence
First Aid at Work qualification, or willingness to achieve
ISO9001 – Internal Auditor, or willingness to achieve
