Job Description:

Deputy Head Teacher - Alderman Bolton Primary School. Alderman Bolton Primary School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, compassionate and motivated Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team. This is a full-time, permanent position, paid on the Leadership Scale L6–L10, working alongside the Headteacher to provide strong, professional leadership and to help drive continuous school improvement. The Deputy Headteacher will play a key role in the strategic and operational leadership of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and governing body, the post holder will help set and realise the school's vision, promote a calm and purposeful learning environment, and maintain high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour. The role includes leading and developing teaching and learning, supporting staff through coaching and professional development, driving effective assessment and use of data, and championing inclusive practice, particularly for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. The Deputy Headteacher will deputise for the Headteacher when required and act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
