Requirements

Experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeper or within a similar role is preferred

Job Responsibility

Support the Head Housekeeper with the efficient running of the housekeeping team
Assist the Head Housekeeper by supporting and developing a team of Room Attendants and Linen Porters
Set an example, encourage team development, and carry out monthly performance reviews
Be proactive and hands on, leading the team from the front-line to deliver exceptional standards
Play a key role with the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas
In the absence of the Head Housekeeper, take responsibility for ensuring the condition of all furnishings, fittings and equipment
Liaise with the maintenance team and manage all linen, deliveries & stock

Ensure that all special requests, group allocations, and VIP requests are managed and met appropriately
Monitor and ensure that all staff are using machinery correctly and identify any required training needs
Oversee that the company’s Health and Safety policy is implemented and managed consistently
