Job Description:

We are currently looking for an Deputy Head Housekeeper to support our Head Housekeeper with the efficient running of our housekeeping team. Some may say the housekeeping team are the backbone of the hotel operation. For our housekeeping team it is not just about making beds, it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Head Housekeeper with the efficient running of the housekeeping team
  • Assist the Head Housekeeper by supporting and developing a team of Room Attendants and Linen Porters
  • Set an example, encourage team development, and carry out monthly performance reviews
  • Be proactive and hands on, leading the team from the front-line to deliver exceptional standards
  • Play a key role with the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas
  • In the absence of the Head Housekeeper, take responsibility for ensuring the condition of all furnishings, fittings and equipment
  • Liaise with the maintenance team and manage all linen, deliveries & stock

Requirements:

Experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeper or within a similar role is preferred
