Job Description:

Randstad is currently seeking a business-savvy Deputy General Manager (Toys) to support one of our clients for their next phase of growth.

Job Responsibility:

Act as second-in-command to the General Manager, providing leadership across the departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Leasing & Inventory)
Develop operational strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals
Analyze key business metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement
Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements in collaboration with Finance
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and diversification into new product categories or services
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders
Lead, coach, and mentor senior management team, fostering a culture of collaboration & high performance
Step in to represent the GM in internal and external meetings when necessary

Requirements:

10 – 15 years’ experience in a retail leadership/commercial role
Strong business acumen mindset with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
