Deputy General Manager for the Caledonian New Southlands Hotel, part of the Caledonian Hotel Collection. The role involves assisting the General Manager in overseeing the operation of the property to ensure total guest satisfaction and delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service, assisting the General Manager in overseeing the operation of the property to ensure total guest satisfaction
Support all departments in delivering high standards consistently
Ensure all staff are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver excellent customer service
Implement strategies to maximise revenue in all departments
Ensure compliance with brand standards in all departments
Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with all head of departments
Requirements:
Previous experience in a managerial role within the hotel industry, preferably in front office operations
Previous experience of managing a team of 20+ colleagues
Strong organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Have excellent customer service skills
Demonstrate a can-do attitude
Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Have excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to colleagues and customers
Ability to work in a team
Ability to work a flexible shift pattern
