Job Description:
Lead and oversee large-scale real estate projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. Develop and implement project management strategies, focusing on timely and cost-effective project delivery. Collaborate with the Head of Projects to align project goals with group-level objectives, ensuring synergy across all projects. Set up and manage the Project Management Group (PMG) to establish project governance structures, resource planning, and accountability systems. Implement robust project portfolio management processes, including project prioritization, aligning with organizational goals. Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, time, and cost constraints. Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and areas of concern, and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent project delays, cost overruns, and quality/safety gaps. Establish risk assessment protocols and monitor project performance to ensure effective risk management across all project phases. Establish and maintain rigorous QHSE processes, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental best practices as per general regulations and globally accepted standards. Conduct regular quality and safety audits in collaboration with the Head of PMO, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and project quality metrics. Work closely with the GM – Projects to standardize project management processes, reporting structures, and documentation. Develop and maintain comprehensive project performance reports, providing insights on project milestones, resource utilization, budget status, and compliance metrics. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure project compliance with all regulatory standards, liaising with government agencies as required to secure necessary permits and approvals. Lead a high-performing team of project management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to the team, promoting skill enhancement and knowledge sharing. Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring quality assurance of civil structures and adherence to construction standards. Conduct regular inspections and reviews of site progress, identifying any deviations and implementing corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
